New Partnership Announcement | Cruse Scotland
We are delighted to announce our partnership with Cruse Scotland.
Cruse Scotland has been supporting bereaved people in Scotland for over 60 years and is the nation’s leading charity dedicated to helping people understand, process, and navigate their grief.
It doesn’t matter the age, the relationship to the deceased, or how recent or long ago the death occurred—Cruse Scotland is here to offer hope when the future seems empty.
Their free bereavement services are often referred to as ‘life-saving’ and are designed to ensure that anyone needing support receives the right help at the right time, building resilience and improving well-being at a time of great sorrow, stress, and loss.
In addition to bereavement support, Cruse Scotland also offers a free Will writing service. Making a Will provides peace of mind, knowing that loved ones will be taken care of and that assets will be distributed according to personal wishes. While there’s no obligation to leave a gift in your Will, doing so can create a lasting impact—helping Cruse Scotland continue its invaluable work supporting children, young people, and adults who are struggling with grief.
Our CEO, Gayle Adnyana, had this to say about our new partnership:
"All of us at 1st Class Credit Union are proud to partner with Cruse Scotland. Cruse Scotland deliver compassionate grief and bereavement support in Scotland, they offer Scotland’s leading bereavement training and their experienced volunteers provide vital support to bereaved people across Scotland. All of us at one time may experience grief and loss and with their help, we can learn to live with that loss. As the CEO of 1st Class we serve members daily across the UK who might be experiencing the ups and downs of life and stand ready to help our own members who are adjusting to, coping with or recovering from bereavement or who might be feeling vulnerable for any reason. Our recent Will referral service in partnership with Cruse Scotland will hopefully offer our members some peace of mind to plan for the future so that their wishes can be documented. We can’t speak highly enough of Cruse Scotland and thank them for all of the work they do daily to help us navigate grief and loss."
