New Direct Debit Process

We’ve got a new Direct Debits process

At 1st Class Credit Union, we believe in continuously improving our services to meet the evolving needs of our members. We understand that managing your finances effectively requires seamless and transparent transactions. That's why we’re delighted to announce an exciting enhancement to our direct debit process. With this update, we aim to provide you with increased convenience, clarity, and peace of mind when it comes to managing your payments.

Streamlined Communication and Peace of Mind:

Starting this month, all direct debit payers will receive a monthly email confirmation containing essential details about their upcoming payment. This email will clearly state the amount and the date on which the payment will be processed. We want to assure you that these emails are not spam; they are coming directly from 1st Class Credit Union. By proactively providing this information, we aim to enhance your financial awareness and facilitate better planning.

Transparent Set-Up Process:

In addition to the monthly confirmation emails, we have also introduced a simplified procedure for setting up new direct debits. When you wish to establish a new direct debit arrangement, all you need to do is click on the link provided by us. This link will direct you to a secure portal where you can input the necessary information. Once you have successfully submitted your direct debit details, a confirmation email will be sent to you, confirming that the setup has been completed.

Benefits of the Upgraded Direct Debit Process:

  1. Enhanced Clarity: The monthly confirmation emails will ensure you have a clear understanding of your upcoming direct debit payments, allowing you to plan your finances accordingly.
  2. Proactive Communication: By sending you these emails, we want to foster transparency and actively engage with you regarding your financial obligations to the credit union.
  3. Convenient Set-Up: The new direct debit setup process via a link eliminates the need for manual paperwork or in-person visits, saving you time and effort.
  4. Confirmation Assurance: The confirmation email you receive after setting up a new direct debit will provide you with the peace of mind that your request has been successfully processed.
  5. Improved Financial Management: With detailed payment information at your fingertips, you can stay on top of your finances, making budgeting and expense management easier.
  6. Repay on your date of choice: Our members can now choose from all dates within the month to make their monthly payment, rather than our previous choice of 5.
