1st Class Voices Ambassador Programme Terms and Conditions

The Workplace Ambassador Programme aims to engage and empower members of 1st Class Credit Union who are passionate about our mission and values.

Ambassadors will act as advocates and representatives of the Credit Union in their communities, helping to promote 1st Class Credit Union, membership growth, and active participation in our services and initiatives.

Eligibility

To be eligible to serve as an ambassador for 1st Class Credit Union, candidates must:

  • Be a current member of the Credit Union in good standing.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the Credit Union.

Ambassadors’ Roles and Responsibilities

Ambassadors will actively contribute to the success of 1st Class Credit Union by undertaking the following:

  • Promote Membership - When possible, advocate for credit union membership by highlighting its benefits within personal and professional networks.
  • Represent the Credit Union - When possible, attend local events, fairs, and conferences as a representative, distributing marketing materials and engaging with potential members.
  • Provide Feedback - Serve as a communication bridge between the Credit Union and its members, offering insights on products, services, and provide member feedback to the Credit Union.
  • Social Media Engagement – When possible, share news, campaigns, and updates on personal social media platforms, adhering to the P-OPS005 Social Media & Public Relations Policy.
  • Volunteerism - When possible, participate in community service initiatives organised by the Credit Union, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility.
  • Compliance - Ensure all activities reflect the Credit Union's values and comply with UK regulations, including standards set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).

How it Works

  • Sign up as an Ambassador for free via the “About Us” tab on our website.
  • Once enrolled, you will receive a unique referral code by email to use when signing up new members.
  • There is no limit to the number of new members you can enroll within the 12-month financial year, which runs from October to October.
  • Ambassadors must provide their referral code to new members, who can then enter it on their application form to be eligible for the reward.
  • After a new member successfully joins 1st Class Credit Union, receives their membership number, and makes their first payment of £16.00 per month (£4.00 per week), both the Ambassador and the new member will receive £5.00 into their accounts within 28 days.
  • Literature and merchandise needed for events or office promotions will be provided free of charge by 1st Class Credit Union.
  • After signing up as an Ambassador, you will receive a Welcome Call to guide you through the process. You will also be invited to quarterly webinars to share feedback or ideas about the Ambassador programme.
  • Ambassadors will be provided with a dedicated business email address to contact us with any queries after enrolment.

1st Class Credit Union have the right to amend, change or withdraw the terms and conditions pertaining to processes and prizes at any time and without prior notification.

The scheme will run during the Credit Union financial year, from October to October.
